We had our 5th fetal echo today and the result was good news. The left side of the heart continues to grow proportionally (at 2/3 of the size of the right side which is a bit enlarged). The ascending aorta has grown from 3.2mm 6 weeks ago to 4.8mm now. The PC said she would like it to be 6-9mm when he is born - depending on his size. We are hopeful that it will reach that threshold based on the growth to date.
Otherwise everything looked as before and so the surgical outlook is for an end to end anastamosis:

We hope to have this done at Seattle Children's Hospital.
I am glad to have this relatively encouraging news and am now going to eat pasta.
Happy Halloween
